JAJABOR

JAJABOR in bangla and YAYAVAR in Hindustani means a traveller with a soul. For all the jajabors I have known and admired , a few thoughts

JAJABOR
Write to me more about places you have seen
The customs and mystery of unknown beings
Of jungles and mountains, rivers gurgling bright
Snow and ice-maidens dancing by the firelight.
Why and what they fear and their faith in nature
Who do they trust most with their lives treasure?
Where is the clear stream quenching their thirst
How do they heal their war-wounds fast
Do they forgive all and love with abandon
Their enemies as friends in golden passion?

Jajabor,
Tell me the tale of desires unquenched
Which high priestess teaches them patience
Who gives them the potion to bear the pain
Of living a loveless life, yet forever giving?
